Baking Bread

Mrs. Duitsman's 4th Grade Class made bread as a culminating activity to a nutrition program through the Kansas State Pottawatomie County Extension Office. 

Their lessons focused on learning about the MyPlate and making healthy food choices. 
Students worked in small groups and took turns measuring ingredients, mixing, and kneading the dough.

The activity also taught students about how wheat gets from the field to our tables.
