Schools The original high school (top picture) was built of yellow limestone in 1888. Seven students attended the first year. A new high school, Randolph Rural High School (middle picture), was built in 1929. Randolph Grade School moved into the old high school building. The bottom picture is of Randolph school children. Wm. Mcllwain was employed as principal of the Randolph High School at a salary of $60.00 a month in 1893. The heads of the junior high and elementary departments each received $40.00 per month. |
