Welcome

We have designed this website for others to learn about how people helped each other during a particular time in American history. With the help of Richard Pitts, a local historian and expert of the Underground Railroad in Northeast Kansas, students at Randolph Middle School STLP class have designed a website for information about important people, places, and events of the Underground Railroad in Kansas. There are many people that helped along the way and are still helping to preserve the history of this time. The map below shows the approximate area where most of our research for this project has taken place.
