The Parent Teacher Organization works to improve the learning opportunities for all students of USD 384. It is a partnership between families, teachers and administration.

Join us!

Parents or guardians of students, community members, teachers, and administration  may join the PTO! Come to a meeting or volunteer at activities throughout the school year. Either way, we love to hear from parents and teachers. Your input, ideas and feedback are important to our work.

How you can help

Boots and Bling, Saturday, April 6, 2019

Boots and Bling is an event for parents and community members to enjoy a night out of good food, drinks and entertainment in support of the students of Blue Valley. Join the planning committee, donate a silent auction item, and attend the event! 

 

Middles school sports gates

PTO members take tickets at middle school sports gates including football, volleyball and basketball. Sign up to take tickets at a game! Contact an officer to get on our mailing list for the sign ups.

To request funding from the PTO, please submit requests at least 6 weeks prior to events or the date you would like funding. Note that the PTO meets once a month during the school year and you're welcome to join us!

Parent Teacher Organization Goal

Our goal is to fund additional educational needs our students may have throughout the year. We, along with our dedicated volunteers, will work hard to promote PTO, support our purpose, and enhance fundraising activities.

Our common goal is to make our schools and our students’ educational experience the very best. That being said, we would love to hear from you! Your input, ideas and feedback are important to our work.

Membership

All parent(s) or guardian(s) of a student at the School, any community member, the Administration, or any teacher currently employed at USD 384 may become a PTO Member. Becoming a member is easy, come to a meeting or help with volunteering with activities that are throughout the school year.

Mission Statement

The PTO is organized for the purpose of supporting and enhancing the educational experiences of the school's students by:

  • providing an organization through which the parents, school, and teachers can work cooperatively; and
  • providing financial support for programs funded outside of the annual school budget; and
  • Parents and Teachers working together to promote the education and well-being of all students at home, in school and in the community.

 

Objectives

The following objectives will be carried out and supported through conferences, committees, projects and programs, as appropriate:

  • to raise money to benefit the students of USD 384; and
  • to abide by the laws/rules for the care and protection of children and youth; and
  • to enhance home/school relationships so the families and faculty cooperate in the education of children.

 

The Parent Teacher Organization works to improve the learning opportunities for all students of USD 384.
It is a partnership between families, faculty and administration that requires the commitment of all sides to accomplish its goals.
