Are you passionate about nurturing creativity and fostering artistic expression in students of all ages? We are seeking a dynamic and innovative K-12 Art Teacher to join our dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive art curriculum aligned with state standards and educational best practices for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Inspire and motivate students to explore various artistic mediums, techniques, and styles, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, digital art, and more.
Provide engaging and differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where creativity is celebrated and students feel empowered to express themselves.
Facilitate hands-on art projects, demonstrations, and group discussions to enhance students' artistic skills and critical thinking abilities.
Assess student progress through various formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to promote growth and development.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community members to support student learning and achievement.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with emerging trends and innovations in art education.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Valid teaching license/certification in Art Education (K-12).
Previous teaching experience in a K-12 setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and principles of design.
Proficiency in various artistic mediums, including but not limited to drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, and digital art.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction and accommodate diverse learning needs.
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Passion for art education and a dedication to inspiring creativity in students.
