Are you passionate about nurturing creativity and fostering artistic expression in students of all ages? We are seeking a dynamic and innovative K-12 Art Teacher to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive art curriculum aligned with state standards and educational best practices for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

  • Inspire and motivate students to explore various artistic mediums, techniques, and styles, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, digital art, and more.

  • Provide engaging and differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where creativity is celebrated and students feel empowered to express themselves.

  • Facilitate hands-on art projects, demonstrations, and group discussions to enhance students' artistic skills and critical thinking abilities.

  • Assess student progress through various formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to promote growth and development.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community members to support student learning and achievement.

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with emerging trends and innovations in art education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Valid teaching license/certification in Art Education (K-12).

  • Previous teaching experience in a K-12 setting preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and principles of design.

  • Proficiency in various artistic mediums, including but not limited to drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, and digital art.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to differentiate instruction and accommodate diverse learning needs.
