It is a privilege to announce that Anthony Meals was approved at the February 14th, 2022 Board of Education meeting as the 2022-2023 Blue Valley High School Principal. Several quality candidates were interviewed for the position. Anthony was selected as the best candidate. He will do great things. We want to assure the community that we are committed to keeping our Ag program strong. Anthony is playing a key role in finding an extraordinary candidate to fill this position. Hello RAMFAM! Here is the tentative 2022-2023 school calendar for you to start planning. Please BE AWARE that the calendar is TENTATIVELY APPROVED, pending teacher negotiation in April. Once the negotiations are completed, the calendar will receive full approval and I will send out a notice when that happens. It's a great day to be a RAM!!

Just a reminder of high school games this weekend. Friday- Bv vs. Flint Hills Christian. Varsity only. Games start at 6pm. On Saturday Bv vs. White City. Varsity only. Games start at 1pm.
Parent Teacher conferences will be held on Monday Feb. 14 and Feb. 17 from 4 pm to 8pm. High school teachers will be in their classrooms both nights and middle school teachers will be in the old gym at the high school both nights.
Tonight’s jv girls game against Wash.Co. Will start at 5pm. Boys jv will follow in old gym. Varsity games start at 6pm. There will be no live streaming for tonight’s games.
Blue Valley Middle & High School Track Teams will be hosting a Bake Sale with a collection of items on Silent Auction during the HS Basketball Games tomorrow night, February 8th. Silent Auction & Sale will begin at 5:30pm and go till half-time of the Boys Varsity game. THANK you to all the parents who have volunteered to bake items!!

We had wintery weather overnight that has not had a chance to be treated or cleared. Because it is unsafe to transport students or have them drive to school, I have decided to CANCEL SCHOOL for today February 2nd, 2022.. I apologize for the short notice. I know it makes it difficult for families when this happens. I will keep you updated on school closings as needed. Thank you for understanding.

Just a reminder that the middle school teams play at blue rapids tomorrow in the BVL tournament. Boys play at 4:45 and girls play at 6pm. Both teams play against Luckey. Bus leaves at 3:30. Good luck to both teams!
Practice for little cheer camp will be Sunday Feb. 6 from 1 to 4 pm, NOT tomorrow January 30th.

***Spelling Bee Today.*** If you want to watch from home use our Youtube channel link on our website. It is the same one we use for basketball.
On sat. Jan. 29 there will be a make up game at Linn for MS varsity girls and HS girls. Games start at 2 pm. Order of games will be 2 quarters of HS jv girls, MS girls, HS varsity girls.
Tonight’s games against Wakefield will only be varsity. Varsity girls start at 6pm followed by boys.
Middle school spelling bee will be this Thursday at 9am in middle school. No parents or guest allowed due to COVID and sickness.
No middle school practice for boys tonight. MS Girls will practice till 5pm.
