Sixth grade students are studying energy transformations in science class. Today they compared the motion (kinetic energy) of a marble and ball-bearing down a ramp.




Integrated science students are using their creativity and engineering skills to build a model derby car.




The girls start us out in the TVL Tournament Saturday morning at 10 am against Frankfort. Booster Club will pay for the first 25 BVHS students to get in and sit in a pep section to cheer on our girls to a WIN!



Middle school plays tonight at Luckey. Games start at 4pm. High school plays at Hanover, making up their missed game from last week. Boys C game starts at 4pm.

High school plays in Clyde tonight, starting at 3:45 pm with a half boys C game.


Middle school takes on Clifton Clyde at home tonight. C boys will play a half game at 5:15pm.


Blue Valley USD #384 will have a 2-hour late start Friday January 10th. No AM 1/2 Day Preschool All-Day Preschool students will need to ride the school bus as normal this morning.
Be careful of Black Ice and overnight freezing on road ways making them slick. Please drive slow and take additional caution.


The Varsity team of Brody Buchanan, Norah Cassel, Kaden Anderson, Kelbi Dettmer, Ben Klocke and Titus Cobb earned GOLD MEDALS by placing first against ten teams (mostly TVL) at the Washington County tournament. GO RAMS 🐏💙❤️💙❤️


Middle school is back at it tonight taking on Valley Heights. The girls will play at VHHS with A team starting at 5:45pm and B team following. Boys will play in Blue Rapids with B team starting and A team following. There will also be a 1/2 C team game following the A game.

Route bus drivers have been in contact with parents. If you have not yet spoken with your bus driver, please reach out to them directly.
We urge everyone to take extra precautions when traveling tomorrow. Many county roads have been cleared for only one vehicle, and overnight freezing is expected to cause black ice and slick spots on roads and parking lots.
For parents dropping off Preschool students, please be mindful that visibility is reduced due to piled snow, requiring additional caution.


Due to unsafe road conditions and the need to clear school grounds and buildings after the snowstorm, Blue Valley USD 384 will have No School on Wednesday, January 8th. Stay safe and warm! All activities are canceled.

No School for Blue Valley USD Three Eighty Four for Monday January 6th. All School Activities are postponed as well.


Rams win over Onaga 60-31. Rams had nine different scorers in this one led by Braden with 26.
They will go into Hanover on Tuesday with a record of 4-2.





The HS Basketball games tomorrow (January 4th) vs. Troy have been POSTPONED to a later date! More details will be announced soon.

The Rams are charging into the new year at home against Onaga. JV girls start at 4:15 pm.


The 8th grade history class commemorated the Boston Tea Party on Monday, Dec. 16. This was the 251st anniversary of this act of rebellion.
