BVMS students celebrated the last day of school with the 4th (or 5th) annual Mr. Wizard's Olympic games. Teamwork, cooperation, and positive attitudes could be found in abundance. There were several new games this year, and each team accepted the challenge. I think it is safe to say they had fun!

During senior night, Blue Valley High School honored five distinguished seniors: Trace Sump, Bradyen Innes, Tennessee Hartman, Lincoln Schmitz, and Landon Sump. This group of five was foundational to the establishment of the baseball program in 2021 and has played a pivotal role in every victory in the program’s history. The school and community sincerely thank these young men for their dedication and hard work over the past four years. Your presence will be missed, but your impact will remain. Additionally, we express our gratitude to the members of "The Big Blue Dream" and all who contributed their time and resources to support the creation of the baseball program.

We had the incredible opportunity to welcome Luke Jennings, National FFA Secretary, to our chapter today! His workshop challenged us to shift our focus less on ourselves and more on how we can serve others. A meaningful day full of growth, connection, and inspiration!

Dear Blue Valley Parents,
We are excited to share that beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, Blue Valley High School will transition to a block class schedule. This new structure will provide students with more opportunities for in-depth learning and increased flexibility when selecting elective courses.
The move to block scheduling is part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen student engagement and better prepare students for post-secondary success. Over the coming weeks, we’ll share more details and answer questions you may have about how this change will benefit your child.
We appreciate your support and look forward to partnering with you during this scheduling transition.
Sincerely,
Rex Boley
Superintendent

The BVMS 7th and 8th grade students experienced School Day at the K on Thursday. They watched the science experiments on the field, visited demonstration booths, and then watched the Royals baseball team dominate on the field. Great weather, great kids, great day!

The 8th class visited East Kansas Agri-Energy in Garnett on Wednesday to watch the fermentation process in action. They learned how ethanol was made. Trucks were lined up around the block delivering corn. After the tour, students ate lunch at the train depot park, and we stopped for ice cream on the way home.
