It's a busy day for our Blue Valley tracksters! Middle school is headed to Wamego with field events starting at noon. The 3200m run starts at 1:15pm and the other running events start at 2pm. High school heads to Washington County with field events at 3pm and the 3200m run at 3:30pm. Prelim runs follow at 4:30pm. Let's go Rams!

Last year, I said he had a bright future in this sport after finishing 6th Overall as a Sophomore. The darkness of leaving Randolph at 4:45am couldn't stop his light from shining today.
Help me congratulate your 2026 KEMFA 1A State Champion in Squat in the 181# weight class, Ben Klocke. He got 1st place with his opening lift of 435#, but that wasn't all he wanted. He continued pushing for his personal goal of 5 plates on each side 495#. While he didn't goal, he did get a new PR @ 455# (warming up, lol).
Then he went on to get a new PR in Clean and Bench. His PR of 260# in Bench was good enough to get him 3rd place in that lift and was a tight race.
Ben finished on the podium 3 times today. 1st in Squat, 3rd in Bench, and 3rd Overall in the 181# weight class. He was inches away from finishing 1st Overall and it was exciting.
The future continues to be bright for this Junior and I can't wait to see what new heights he gets to next year. Great job today Ben!!!
