Fifth grade science students won the Penny War competition! They enjoyed a pizza dance party as their reward for their efforts. I hope fun was had by all!! So thankful to have a first and last day of school in person this year!!

Seventh grade science students finished the year by completing their ecosystem diorama. They did a great job! In addition, the tadpoles that were developing in our classroom as part of our adaptation unit got sent home today. They may be released into a pond or stream near you! Have a fabulous summer Ram family!

The 8th grade class got the opportunity to tour East Kansas Agri-Energy, an ethanol plant in Garnett, KS, on Friday, May 21. Students had completed their own fermentation lab experiments in class prior to this visit. The students asked great questions and learned a lot about what it takes to turn corn into a viable fuel source. These kids got promoted on to high school today. They will be missed at the middle school! Congratulations to all of them!!!
