On May 6, Blue Valley FCCLA had their awards and installation of officers. They had a very successful year considering we had to work around COVID. The members worked hard and Look forward to next year. We hope to have more members be successful.
In family studies we made posters about Family Structures.
In Fashion Trends we did some sketching on croquis. Then the students uploaded one of their sketches to Adobe illustrator and did mor editing. Here a few of their edits. They did a great job.
Wake up and smell the coffee!!! Math Club started their fundraiser by selling coffee, chai tea, smoothies, and milkshakes. Stop by before school or during high school lunch to try one!!
On your mark...get set.....GO!! The last few weeks math has been preparing for State Assessments. Students did a math race to help review concepts that would appear on the State Assessments.
5th Grade is busy working on poetry. They are creating posters showcasing their work! Their recital will be posted on our presentation website.

Today was the last FFA contest for the year! The Greenhand Ag Mechanics team brought home 4th today. They made a birdhouse, welded, identified tools and parts of a tractor. Congrats boys!

Earth Science started their Weather and Climate unit this week by learning how to use the Globe Cloud Cover Protocol to monitor clouds. This is a Citizen Science program that helps NASA scientists calibrate their satellites with on the ground data. We also assembled the quarter quadrats to which we will attach our recording instruments.
