
Due to possible weather delays Regional Track will at start at 1pm instead of 3 pm on Thursday at Burlington. Bus will leave at 8:15am. Admission is $6 for adult and student.

The BVHS Football team has begun selling the Ram Card once again! These discount cards include businesses such as DQ, Texas Roadhouse, Little Apple Lanes, The Bricks, & more! Each card is $15 and doesn’t expire until June 1, 2022. If interested in purchasing a card, please find a BVHS football player or Coach Schreiber. The team will be selling cards at the MES Spring Concert on May 18th and the MS/HS Spring Concert on May 20th.



My apparel production class loved the 8th grade felt monsters. They did a couple of them and couldn’t stop sewing until they were finished. I missed one monster. They did a great job!





These group of 8th grades finished up their felt monsters where they did different hand sewing techniques. Great project. They did have to finish on their own time. Next I will post the rest of the class.


In family studies as their last big project they are planning their future wedding. A lot of discussion what is a usher, ring bearer, and engagement announcements. Why so many flowers, etc? Lots of discussions which is awesome.

On May 6, Blue Valley FCCLA had their awards and installation of officers. They had a very successful year considering we had to work around COVID. The members worked hard and Look forward to next year. We hope to have more members be successful.





In family studies we made posters about Family Structures.




In Fashion Trends we did some sketching on croquis. Then the students uploaded one of their sketches to Adobe illustrator and did mor editing. Here a few of their edits. They did a great job.




Wake up and smell the coffee!!! Math Club started their fundraiser by selling coffee, chai tea, smoothies, and milkshakes. Stop by before school or during high school lunch to try one!!

On your mark...get set.....GO!! The last few weeks math has been preparing for State Assessments. Students did a math race to help review concepts that would appear on the State Assessments.

5th Grade is busy working on poetry. They are creating posters showcasing their work! Their recital will be posted on our presentation website.




Just a reminder that school physical will start at 9am tomorrow at BVHS. All paperwork must be signed by a parent before doctor will see student. Forms can be found on district website. Thank you!

Today was the last FFA contest for the year! The Greenhand Ag Mechanics team brought home 4th today. They made a birdhouse, welded, identified tools and parts of a tractor. Congrats boys!
