Blue Valley Fishing Team is out for our first practice trip on Milford! Our inaugural fishing meet will be on April 10th at Wilson Reservoir!


Students are trying to creatively and artistically convey how they solved a math problem.




Our dog grooming business is in full force. The girls are booked until second week of April! The girls are enjoying this opportunity!

The Blue Valley Middle School Scholars Bowl team competed in the league tournament in Marysville Tuesday, March 23. Eight teams competed in both the A and B team divisions (Hanover, Valley Heights, Luckey, Marysville, Linn, Washington, Clifton-Clyde, and Blue Valley). B-team competed well but went 1-3 in the tournament. A-team went 4-2 and earned 2nd place medals overall. The BVMS Scholars Bowl teams have had a great year with A or B teams earning medals at each of the meets we have attended. There is one more Riley County meet scheduled for April 7 at Luckey.



1st Hour Nutrition and Wellness class put the plants in our new tower gardens. We can’t wait to see what they will produce for the school. Farm to School will be an exciting program to be a part off.

6th graders are trying to find a perfect place to relocate in Ancient Greece. Before the move they have to ask the Oracle of Delphi for permission to move. Can they convince the Oracle to allow them to move?

FCCLA hosted a food drive before spring break. 5-12 grades collected over 700 pounds of food. Some went to Randolph Pride and the rest went to the Flinthills Breadbasket. Great Job Rams!!!

5th Grade band celebrated St. Patrick's Day this week by learning about instruments from Ireland and by coloring a worksheet where they had to know the rhythmic notes and how many beats each note equals.
Blue Valley High School Drama Department will be performing Burton Bumgarner's "Hurry Up and Wait!" on Thursday, March 11 and Friday, March 12. Due to COVID restrictions, the public cannot attend the performances in person. World Food Prize dignitary, Taylor Belle Matheny, of Kansas State University shares her presentation on the many opportunities available to students who get involved in the World Food Prize. She then stayed as the English II Hunger Fighters presented their poster presentations. What a Day!!
