Rams Baseball is pleased to announce that Landon Schreiber has committed to play baseball for Otero College in La Junta, Colorado. Landon plans to pursue a degree in Soil & Crop Science while playing 3rd base for the Rattlers. Congratulations Landon and Go Rattlers!


Baseball Skills Sessions: BVHS baseball will be holding Baseball Skills Sessions on Friday, July 19th at 6:30 AM, then two sessions a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 AM starting on July 23rd and concluding on August 1st. All incoming high school students interested in baseball are welcome.

Annual SchoolaPalooza will be taking place July 29 and July 30 from 3:00pm-8:00pm each day at Alert Covenant Church. Come gather school supplies for the start of the school year!


Five BVHS Trap team members competed in the individual competition on Saturday at the National USA High School Clay Target League Championship Match in Mason, Michigan against the top 1733 trap shooters from across the US.
Taylor shot a 50 straight, Dakota and Joel both shot 25 straights. Dakota shot a 95/100 placing 429/1733 overall and 385/1477 male division, Joel shot a 93/100 placing 668/1733 overall and 591/1477 male division, Will shot a 92/100 placing 787/1733 overall and 691/1477 male division, Taylor shot a 92/100 placing 866/1733 overall and 107/256 female division, Easton shot a 84/100 placing 1500/1733 overall, 1301/1477 male division. To move onto the final round on Sunday they had to place in the top 400 overall. Overall the team did great and only a few clays away from making it into
the championship round.
This ends our season and we look forward to the Fall season when school starts back up. If you're interested in joining the BVHS Trap team this Fall be on the look out for sign up

The BVHS Trap team finished the team competition today at 156/261 teams. They had to place in the Top 80 to move to round two on Sunday, they missed it by 16 clays. They had a team score of 448. Dakota and Will both shot a 25 straight. Dakota shot a 93/100, with a 22,25,24,22. Will shot a 91/100 with a 23,22,25,21. Joel shot a 89/100 with a 23,24,22,20. Taylor shot a 88/100 with a 23,20,24,21. Easton shot a 86/100 with a 22,22,21,21. Tomorrow starts the individual competition where they are all separated and will shoot on different trap fields with 4 new squad members. The top 400 individuals will move on to round two on Sunday.

The BVHS Trap team has made it to the National High School Championship Trap shoot in Mason, Michigan. Today we had a team practice and tomorrow the team shoots around 11am for day one of the competition.

USD #384 Employment Opportunities!


Today was the last day of the FCCLA conference. We attended Finalist session, state awards session, visited the pop museum of culture, and ended with closing session. Finally, our flight home.








Days three and four are in the books. We attended workshops, national candidates' speeches, advisor awards, and the fashion show. We also visited Chihuly Gardens and Glass, Seattle Aquarium, and the Space Museum.
