Let's PACK THE STANDS for the boys sub-state championship game in Centralia! Pep bus leaves the HS at 5:20 pm and the grade school at 5:30 pm. Game time is 6:30 pm. Boosters will pay for all MS/HS students, but they must arrive by 6:20 pm. Student section theme is USA!
This Saturday is our Boys Substate Basketball Finals game against Frankfort! Theme for the Student Section will be USA!! Come help pack the stands on Saturday by riding our Pep Bus which will be leaving the High School at 5:20pm and will pickup in Olsburg at MES at 5:30pm!
Due to the icy and slick roads in the eastern part of our school district USD 384 will be closed today.
Due to ice road conditions Blue Valley Schools will be 2 hour late start, no morning preschool. We will be checking roads to see if conditions improve. We will keep you informed.

Students entering 9th to 12th grade are invited to attend one of our pre-enrollment nights on March 10th or 11th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the High School Cafeteria. This is a come-and-go event, so feel free to stop by to learn about our course offerings and enroll in classes for the 2025-2026 school year.

Rams are an extremely confident team right now. They go to Lincoln and get a running clock in the 4th quarter while hitting 11 three-pointers. Final 61-24. Next up, Frankfort on Saturday for the substate championship!

We had another successful powerlifting competition this week. Brayden, Trevor, Amelia, Ben, Tyce, and Braac all competed.
* Braac faced some stiff competition this week and finished 8th in his weight class while getting a new PR in Bench
* Tyce went for new PR's in Bench and Clean. While he wasn't able to complete them, he was really close and was still able to come away with 3rd overall in his weight class.
* Ben got a new PR in Squat. He got 1st in Squat, 1st in Bench, and 2nd overall in his weight class.
* Brayden and Trevor competed in the same weight class this week. Brayden attempted new PR's in Bench and Clean. Brayden finished 5th in Clean and 6th in Bench and 7th overall in his weight class, and Trevor finished 8th right behind him by only 5 lbs.
* Amelia was able to join us this week, and she got a new PR in Squat. She finished 1st in all of her lifts and 1st overall in her weight class.
As a team, the boys finished 8th out of 16 with 59 points.
Amelia scored 40 points as well to give her 11th out of 13 team.
Great job, BV Powerlifters, and congratulations to Amelia, Ben, and Tyce on the new hardware.
What an incredible season the Lady Rams had. They fell short last night losing to Troy 50-59. We thank every fan that showed up to cheer us on and for your support. We thank our seniors for being the heart of this team and all their efforts. We are so proud of the growth these girls had this season. The future of Blue Valley Girls Basketball is STRONG. We will be back next season better and stronger.
As we prepare for both HS basketball teams advancing to the semifinal round in the Substate Tournament here are a couple of announcements.
There will be a pep bus leaving BVHS at 4:30 tomorrow (Saturday, 3/1) and stopping at MES in Olsburg at 4:40 for a pickup spot. Tip off is at 7pm.
On Monday, a pep bus will be leaving from BVHS for Lincoln at 3:50pm. Tip off for the boys will be at 6pm.

Jh track practice is getting pushed back one day. It will start on Tuesday, March 4th.
Students in the Baking & Pastry have been learning about the process of yeast fermentation. This week, they put their knowledge to the test by creating delicious cinnamon rolls from scratch.
High School baseball practice begins Monday, March 3rd . Interested players should dress out(baseball practice pants, cleats, t-shirt, and hoodie) and report to the Middle School gym with their bat and glove after school.
#9 Blue Valley boys start sub-state play tonight against #8 Centralia. Game time is 7pm. Note that entrance fees are $8/adult and $6/student.
